Overall, the Zenbook Duo (2025) offers a solid laptop package that will appeal to a niche set of users who want a portable dual-screen setup. I really like the ability to transform a portable computer into a two-screen productivity powerhouse on the fly, and that’s the Zenbook Duo in a nutshell. However, there are tradeoffs necessary to achieve that. The Zenbook Duo is thicker, heavier, and less efficient than other laptops. For myself, as much as I like the dual-screen vision, I find I prefer traditional clamshell laptops that are light and thin. But not everyone will feel the same way, and for those willing to make the tradeoffs, the Zenbook Duo is the best dual-screen option around.

The Asus Zenbook Duo is a laptop for creatives who crave something different and want to shake up the status quo. The myriad of configurations come with a learning curve to activate and use reguarly, but they are rewarding in their ability to push creative tasks to new productivity levels. Even better is the fact that the hardware on board is solid, regardless of its physical form. The cherry on top is that it comes with a stylus and carrying case, rounding out the package for a very accessible sale price of $1,299. I would recommend this laptop to creatives who are committed to using it the way it is designed: activating the dual displays, switching up the configurations, grabbing the stylus, and exploring new avenues of productivity. If these things don't excite you, I would recommend a creative-minded laptop with a more traditional form factor like the Asus ProArt P16 or the MacBook Pro M4.

But that same boon comes with a caveat, as the battery life suffers, coming in nearly two hours shorter than last year's model. It's hard to recommend anything quite similar to the Asus Zenbook Duo, so even with its flaws, it's still an excellent choice all around. If you'd like something similar, the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i boasts nearly a four-hour longer battery life. But if you look past its longevity issues, the Zenbook Duo is still great.

The ASUS Zenbook DUO just good better because its UX8406C iteration relies on the up-to-date Arrow Lake processors and the fresh Intel Arc 140T which is could give some low-end dGPUs a run for their money. Despite the dual-screen design, the performance is very good. The UX8406C feels like a rocket ship for day-to-day tasks. Maybe that’s due to the faster LPDDR5x-7467 RAM. The frequency of the memory chips of the previous-gen sibling is 5600 MHz. The Core Ultra 9 285H has a 45W power limit and it’s also fitted into a thin chassis. Still, the clocks in short and medium loads are good. In the long run, the frequencies are lower than the official Intel base ones for this chip but that’s somehow expected for this kind of form factor.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности способны на многое и подойдут для большинства игр, иногда даже при максимальных настройках и разрешениях. Чаще всего GPU "просто верхнего" уровня производительности расходуют заметно меньше энергии, чем самые-самые топовые и дорогие модели.

Ultra 9 285H: Высококлассный мобильный процессор на базе архитектуры Arrow Lake с 16 ядрами, разделенными на 3 кластера. 6 быстрых ядер P работают на частоте до 5,4 ГГц. Также есть 8 меньших ядер E с частотой до 4,5 ГГц и 2 небольших ядра с низким энергопотреблением (той же архитектуры) с частотой до 2,5 ГГц. В SoC интегрирован небольшой NPU с пиковой производительностью 13 TOPS и поддержкой vPro Enterprise.
