It’s an efficient work machine that surprisingly makes good use of its 16 GB of RAM and effectively utilizes its low-power processor. With its ample battery life for a full day’s work and a quality display, the Acer Aspire Go 15 AG15-31P is a solid laptop for basic needs considering its price. Among the drawbacks, I would point out the lack of a security system—a fingerprint scanner. Constantly entering a password or PIN code can be quite tedious in modern devices. This Acer Aspire Go 15 doesn’t feel like a cheap laptop at all. If you don’t get to see the price first, you’d think it costs almost double its MSRP, which is a good thing. If you hid the price from me and stacked it up against other, pricier laptops I've reviewed in the past year, I think there are times I'd rather have the Aspire Go 15 than something more expensive. I love the Dell XPS 15 OLED, for example, for its power, eye-catching design and beautiful OLED screen upgrade. But if I wanted to walk down to a coffee shop and do some writing, I might prefer the Aspire Go 15 because it's lighter than the XPS 15 and lasts a bit longer on battery, plus I like the Go 15's keyboard a bit more. That said, you really need to be sure you're okay with the Acer Aspire Go 15's limitations before you buy.
