Как это часто бывает у Infinix, количество модификаций одной модели смартфона просто зашкаливает – и понять смысл появления некоторых из них оказывается не так уж просто. Точнее, смысл Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G заложен прямо в его названии – это 5G-модем, козырь, который в России не разыгрывается; зато производительность платформы оказывается выше, чем у NOTE 40 Pro на 15-20%, так что это действительно более мощный, плюсовой, скажем так, смартфон. При этом есть некоторые проблемы с поддержкой протоколов Vulkan, что может привести к проблемам в определенных играх. В комплекте есть аж 100-ваттная (!) зарядка, при этом сокращена емкость аккумулятора — то есть одновременно страдает автономность и здорово подрастает скорость зарядки. Ну и отметиМ дизайн в черной версии, он уникален для серии. Сам по себе NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G — это очередной очень хороший смартфон Infinix. Но он несколько теряется в контексте очень плотного модельного ряда.

It has a truly curved glass front, a good-looking OLED screen, convincing fake metal sides and, in my particular handset, a nicely judged combo of gold and green. It’s faking it to make it, sure, but there’s enough charm to the look even after you see through it. The turn-offs are all about the substance. The Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus’ processor is only sufficient, and lacks Vulkan support. The “Super Zoom” is all software, with no zoom camera on board. And the secondary cameras are rubbish too.

Infinix NOTE 40 Pro – смартфон очень приятный в обращении и отчетливо «породистый» в плане исполнения: компания продолжает следовать своей миссии по насыщению нижнего и среднего ценового сегмента аппаратами с флагманскими вайбами. Но активность Infinix снова слегка играет против компании – Infinix NOTE 40 Pro оказывается очень близким и по дизайну, и по общей направленности, и по конкретным характеристикам (вроде экрана, аккумулятора, камеры) к Infinix ZERO 30 4G, который уже полгода присутствует на рынке и успел заметно подешеветь. Впрочем, у нового «ноута» есть свои прелести вроде очень быстрой проводной зарядки и поддержки беспроводной (в том числе по MagSafe), ИК-порта, а также кольцевой вспышки как элемента светового оформления задней крышки. Это в любом случае еще один хороший смартфон Infinix, но он чуть теряется на фоне себе подобных.

So, overall, the Infinix Note 40 is a very good phone under Rs. 30,000. The display and design are good, performance is acceptable, and both wired and wireless chargers are included in the box, which is unique at this price. The software is clean, providing a good user experience, so I have no complaints. The camera performance is just okay, not the best but not bad either. Comparable to Samsung’s Galaxy A15 5G and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13, the Infinix Note 40 is a good balanced package under Rs. 30,000. That being said, if you want a better design, slightly better cameras, improved haptics, faster charging, and 12GB RAM, you can get the Note 40 Pro for about Rs. 7,000 more. However, if you are spending around Rs. 35,000, in my opinion, the OnePlus Nord CE3 available for Rs. 37,000 in the market is a better product!

Так что NOTE 40 не угрожает NOTE 40 Pro, смартфоны распределены по ценовой линейке логично. Но он все равно выглядит более интересным и оправданным предпочтением, особенно если с новыми прошивками уберут пару неприятных «детских болезней».

So, overall, the Infinix Note 40 is a very good phone under Rs. 30,000. The display and design are good, performance is acceptable, and both wired and wireless chargers are included in the box, which is unique at this price. The software is clean, providing a good user experience, so I have no complaints. The camera performance is just okay, not the best but not bad either. Comparable to Samsung’s Galaxy A15 5G and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13, the Infinix Note 40 is a good balanced package under Rs. 30,000. That being said, if you want a better design, slightly better cameras, improved haptics, faster charging, and 12GB RAM, you can get the Note 40 Pro for about Rs. 7,000 more. However, if you are spending around Rs. 35,000, in my opinion, the OnePlus Nord CE3 available for Rs. 37,000 in the market is a better product!
