Обычный Oppo Find X8 — отличное, универсальное устройство. Конечно, по сравнению с моделью Pro есть несколько компромиссов. Самый заметный из них — отсутствие второй телеобъективной камеры, клавиши управления камерой и более слабый аккумулятор. Тем не менее, мы считаем, что Find X8 — отличный камерофон, а компромиссы вполне приемлемы, учитывая его меньший размер и более низкую цену. Даже предлагаемый им 6-кратный цифровой зум неплох. Отсутствие LTPO-дисплея в стандартной модели — относительно незначительный недостаток. Яркость экрана по-прежнему довольно высокая, и это не сильно влияет на время автономной работы. Сверхмощный чипсет настолько хорош, насколько это возможно, а новая стандартная водонепроницаемая защита обеспечивает дополнительное спокойствие.

The regular Oppo Find X8 is an excellent, well-rounded device. Sure, there are a few compromises compared to the Pro model. The most notable one is probably the absence of the second telephoto camera, the missing camera key and the smaller battery. Even so, though, we found the Find X8 to be an excellent camera phone, and the trade-offs are reasonable considering its smaller size and lower price. Even the digital 6x zooms it offers aren't half bad. The non-LTPO nature of the display on the vanilla model is a relatively minor drawback. You still get pretty good brightness output, and that hasn't left a notable dent in the battery life.

Though it works pretty well on T-Mobile’s network, I was getting 5G connectivity on it with Google Fi. If you’re in the market for a new phone and are looking for one that has a great camera, incredible battery life, and the latest version of Android – none of Samsung’s phones have that – then the Find X8 is a great phone to pick up right now. This review was written before we knew the global price, so we aren’t able to put that into respect with this review.

From a camera perspective, the Find X8 Pro definitely has an edge in the zoom department, as not many premium smartphones offer 6X optical zoom these days. As for the Find X8, despite having fewer cameras, it also seems quite capable, but I'll have to test out both devices in different scenarios to see and deduce each phone's strengths and weaknesses, not just with their cameras but with their design, battery life, and displays as well. I loved the Oppo Find X8 Pro, so it’s no surprise I also love the standard Find X8. This model offers a very similar overall experience, and for a lot of people, it’s probably the sensible choice. To summarise the differences: The X8 has a flatter boxy design, a slightly smaller screen, main camera sensor and battery, and it lacks the 6x lens and camera button. I use the 6x telephoto quite frequently, and I also enjoy the novelty of the dedicated camera button, so for me, the Pro is worth the extra outlay. However, I don’t think that’s the case for everyone, and the Quick Button is far from an essential upgrade. As for the difference in screen size and battery life, the difference is so small that I don’t think it should factor into the equation. The top-notch hardware is one thing, but the Oppo Find X8 also delivers on the software front.

Although you can read that in both directions: I think the battery life per charge, general flagship performance and camera consistency is superb; but some software double-ups, a divisive design and poorly-placed Quick Button control aren't going to attract all prospective buyers looking for an Android flagship. There's no doubt that the Oppo Find X8 Pro is every bit the flagship, though, and in my more-than-a-fortnight of use I've become accustomed to battery life that'll knock its competition into submission and a popping display that needn't be dialled down in brightness for sake of longevity. It's those kinds of wins that'll make moving into my next review phone more of a chore – and why the Oppo will stand out where it counts for certain users.

The Oppo Find X8 Pro represents a strong comeback for Oppo, a company that has been largely absent from the UK and EU markets for the past few years. The screen experience is fantastic, with only a minimal curvature that makes swipes from the edges feel nice, though it is a little odd that the regular Find X8 has much slimmer bezels. The cameras are the main event of this show, with four 50MP shooters on the rear including not one but two periscope zoom lenses that reduce the phone’s reliance on purely digital zoom in the 0.5 – 10x range, and even when pushed well past this point, the zoom lenses hold up pretty well.

Just because Oppo is choosing to stay away from a brightness competition, doesn't mean you'll be strapped for nits, and unless you absolutely must game above 60fps, you'll be perfectly fine with a Find. The camera system has a few imperfections in our experience, but you can expect that from the Pro when there's an Ultra on the way. Those relatively minor things aside, the Find X8 Pro is a thoroughly competent all-round flagship smartphone. The super powerful chipset is about as good as they come, the battery life is towards the top of the class, the newly-standard next-level water sealing brings extra peace of mind, the camera key can't hurt.

Having four cameras on a phone that has a more typical flagship phone price rather than an "ultra" one is remarkable. A battery that's nearly 20% bigger than major rivals, a handsome-looking screen, and competitive benchmark results only reinforce what value you'll gain with the Find X8 Pro. Oppo may have left it a little late in 2024 to launch the Find X8 Pro, but it's a phone of the year contender that could continue to be a thorn in the side of Apple, Samsung and Google well into next year depending on how those companies develop their premium phone offerings.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности совершенно не подходят для игр. Скорее всего, даже в повседневных делах пользователь столкнётся с ограничениями, такими, как отсутствие аппаратного декодирования видео или невозможность подключения монитора с актуальным разрешением.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.
ARM Immortalis-G925 MC12: Быстрый интегрированный GPU для процессоров ARM с аппаратной трассировкой лучей, сверхточным разрешением и другими современными технологиями. Планируется, что он будет почти таким же быстрым, как Qualcomm Adreno 830.

Dimensity 9400: Последняя флагманская SoC тайваньской компании для телефонов и планшетов премиум-класса Android, по состоянию на ноябрь 2024 года. Он оснащен 1 ядром Cortex-X925, работающим на частоте до 3,62 ГГц, а также 3 ядрами Cortex-X4 (до 3,25 ГГц) и 4 ядрами Cortex-A720 (до 2 ГГц). В качестве интегрированного GPU используется Immortalis-G925 MP12; он почти так же быстр, как Qualcomm Adreno 830. Также имеется NPU MediaTek 890 8-го поколения с одним "производительным" и одним "гибким" ядрами, а также 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth и спутниковая навигация. Чип набирает ~9000 баллов в Geekbench 6.3 Multi, что делает его на несколько процентов быстрее, чем Apple A18 Pro, и примерно на 20% быстрее, чем Dimensity 9300.
