Даже после перечисления минусов я бы не вскидывал лапки с «всё пропало, шеф!». Потому что, если вы не фотографируете ночью в режиме размытия фона наштукатуренных баб и не снимаете ночное видео с быстрым и регулярным переключением зума туда-сюда, то как бы и минусов для вас в камере Magic 7 Pro… не будет! озможностью фотографировать очень быстро двигающихся своих детей-дошкольников без потери чёткости. А главное — из Китая его можно заказать за 73 тысячи рублей (256 ГБ, CN-версия — нет eSIM, только 2x Nano-SIM, и нет Android Auto. В остальном всё ок), либо за 89-90 тысяч глобальную версию (вообще никаких ограничений, в отличие от CN).

HONOR Magic 7 Pro – сугубо эволюционное развитие предшественника, которое, тем не менее, очень удобно рассматривать в символическом смысле. Основные обновления коснулись даже не аппаратной части (хотя Snapdragon 8 Elite нельзя не отметить — скачок производительности в этом году серьезный, наряду со скачком тепловыделения), а еще большего внедрения искусственного интеллекта во все возможные способы применения смартфона — здесь мы можем говорить в первую очередь о камере с ее впечатляющим стократным зумом и мощной серийной съемкой. Понятное дело, о реальной конкуренции с репортажной фототехникой речь не идет, но смартфоны уже заступают и на эту территорию. Если говорить о HONOR Magic 7 Pro не в символическом, а в практическом смысле — как и предшественник, это один из наиболее удачных Android-флагманов в настоящий момент.

Сто сорок тысяч рублей, блин, за HONOR. Ну да, самый лучший и довольно конкурентоспособный смартфон HONOR, какой-то там планшет дарят и 10 тыщ скидывают за предзаказ, но СТО-СОРОК-ТЫСЯЧ-РУБЛЕЙ. Я понимаю, что Самсунг стоит 160 тысяч (ещё и 256 ГБ в нём будет, а не 512 ГБ, как у Magic 7 Pro), а за iPhone 16 Pro Max 256 ГБ те же официалы ломят 165 тысяч. И понимаю, что смартфон + планшет + беспроцентная рассрочка на год для многих приятнее, чем «бери и выкладывай 80 тыщ с карточки сразу же на Ozon Global/AliExpress» за тот же Magic 7 Pro, даже с учётом завышенной в РФ цены. Но я бы просто ни под каким соусом такие деньги на смартфон тратить не стал, не знаю уж, как вы — слишком нищий, наверное.

Обзор Honor Magic 7 Pro: ультимативный флагман, продуманный до мелочей

Основных конкурентов у Honor Magic 7 Pro два: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra и iPhone 16 Pro Max. Первый ничем не удивил в этом году: камеры без изменений, «урезанный» стилус без Bluetooth. Лишь новый процессор, да мегапикселей в ультраширике побольше. Лучший самсунг, но не удивляет, Magic 7 Pro выглядит интереснее. Обмен валюты во Вьетнаме. Честный курс. И это я только по верхам прошелся. Сюда можно включить AI-фишки, сочный и безопасный для глаз дисплей. Да и в целом ощущение премиального и продуманного до мелочей устройства не покидало все время общения с девайсом. Я перенес всю свою цифровую жизнь с айфона на Honor Magic 7 Pro — и теперь смотрю на айфон без энтузиазма. Разве что прокаченного Dynamic Island не хватает. Но это уже вопрос к Android и Google.

Тем не менее, стартовая цена около 130 тыс. руб. может стать самым большим недостатком этого телефона, особенно если учесть, что даже iPhone 16 Pro Max стоит дешевле.

Действительно, пока рано что-то говорить, тем более что мы ещё не знаем мировых цен на этот флагман.Honor Magic 7 Pro оснащён улучшенной системой камер, как аппаратной, так и программной, более ёмким аккумулятором и более быстрой зарядкой (по крайней мере, в Китае). Новейший чипсет Snapdragon готов бросить вызов другим чемпионам по скорости, а на этот раз дисплей стал более плоским. Всё это в совокупности делает устройство очень мощным и интересным, и нам не терпится его протестировать. Самое важное здесь — цена и доступность. Если Honor установит агрессивную цену на этот флагман за пределами Китая, он может отвоевать ещё больше доли рынка у крупных игроков.

The device's hardware is stellar, its camera system is reasonably performant, and its processing power and battery life are both rock solid. I'm less fond of the company's MagicOS Android skin from a UX perspective, but the company's commitment to updates and security patches is a big win. The various AI tools are rather hit or miss, and the lack of Qi2 charging magnets is a real shame, but the package is otherwise excellent. If you happen to live outside the US, then the Honor Magic 7 Pro is a great choice that's worthy of consideration. The device deserves to stand alongside the best flagship Android phones, and in some cases, it even manages to best the competition outright.

If you’re in the market for a smartphone with the latest camera tech, and the latest AI features, as well as (currently) the fastest Qualcomm processor ever made, which runs at a whopping 4.3GHz, then the Honor Magic7 Pro ticks a LOT of boxes, and you can get a lot of very good results from the cameras on the phone. However, if you want a perfect phone, this is not it. Which is a real shame, as I’m a big fan of using telephoto cameras on phones, but I’m left wishing this one was better. I’m hopeful that software updates can fix some of the softness and colour issues I experienced with the telephoto camera on the phone. However, it’s the shiny chrome finish around the camera lens that is a huge issue when you’re taking photos of anything reflective, such as through glass, as these will end up being captured in your photos on bright sunny days, and if you’re using the phone for video work, then you’ll probably want to cover this in a completely black case.

To be fair, the Honor Magic7 Pro never got that toasty in games like Genshin Impact, even with the graphics maxed out, and with frame rates set to 60fps. The game was smooth, and looked great on the phone's bright display. However, these settings are quite power-intensive — even the phone's hefty 5,850mAh battery depleted by around 10% in around half an hour. But unless I was gaming for hours, I could easily get a day to 1.5 days of use before having to charge the phone. The good news is that the Honor Magic7 Pro supports 100W wired charging, up from its predecessor's 80W. There's also 80W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging, too. At S$1,399 for the base 12GB + 512GB model (and S$1,699 for the 16GB + 1TB version), the Honor Magic7 Pro costs the same as the previous model.

It's the camera tech where the Honor Magic 7 Pro excels. That zoom lens can capture some sharp and beautiful portrait and action shots from a distance, while the video capture also impresses. Likewise, the Honor Magic 7 Pro is fantastic for gamers. Wuthering Waves and other intensive titles play with a fluid frame rate, even on higher visual settings. Battery life is good too, even if we get a smaller capacity cell here in the EU and UK.

The affordable OnePlus 13 ($899.99 at OnePlus) has smashed it out of the park for the first time in years, OPPO has returned to Western shores with the superb Find X8 Pro (£1099 at Amazon), and there’s the trusty Pixel 9 Pro XL ($949 at Amazon) that hardly puts a foot wrong and is still the leader when it comes to AI tools that are actually helpful. And, of course, the Galaxy S25 series is just around the corner at this time of writing. The Magic 7 Pro isn’t going toe-to-toe with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra anytime soon and Honor seems to know that. Its decision to keep the price at £1,099 (around £150 cheaper than we expect the S25 Ultra to cost) is a smart one that positions the Magic 7 Pro closer to entry-level flagship territory. However, its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, robust camera suite and AI trickery should mean it’s in a decent position to compete with Samsung’s range-topper. The upcoming OnePlus 13 is set to employ the Snapdragon 8 Elite for a couple of hundred pounds less than the Magic 7 Pro, so the latter’s photography chops will likely make or break its appeal as an alternative to the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max. I’m currently putting the Honor Magic 7 Pro through its paces so check back soon for my full review to see how the performance, stamina, display quality and cameras stack up to the competition.

There are a few scenarios where my recommendations for buying the Honor Magic7 Pro are clear. If you're considering it against the OnePlus 13, then unless you're very concerned about pricing, the Honor likely wins out for you. And if you're thinking about the Magic7 Pro against a Pixel 9 Pro XL, then it'll depend on if you want to spend your 1.1 grand on better hardware now with Honor or smarter software down the line with Google. The problem is if you're also weighing up buying a Samsung flagship phone. The Galaxy S25 Ultra isn't here yet, and while it'll presumably be more expensive again, it could offer upgrades that leave the Magic7 Pro in the dust. And the fact you'll have to order Honor's phone in from overseas in the U.S. makes the Honor less appealing for American buyers, too.

Honor continues its streak of excellent smartphones with the Honor Magic 7 Pro, offering a comfortably flagship experience in almost every area, including design, durability, screen tech, camera performance and power. With that said, this is what many would consider an iterative upgrade with improved durability, a new processor, a slightly better telephoto camera and, rather awkwardly, a smaller battery than both the Magic 6 Pro and the 2025 flagship competition. Instead, it relies mainly on new AI features to separate itself from its predecessor, and that’s a bit of a risk considering key new additions like Super Zoom AI aren’t all they’re cracked up to be in real-world use. Still, the vast majority of consumers would be more than happy with the hardware and software on offer from the Honor Magic 7 Pro – just maybe not Magic 6 Pro owners.

Honor did all the right things with the Magic 7 Pro. The design makes the device better to hold and use, and it should have better durability as well. The high-quality AMOLED panel combined with all the eye protection features Honor included makes the screen on the Magic 7 Pro one of the best around, and there are absolutely no issues with color vibrancy or brightness levels. There's nothing wrong with the hardware either; the phone blazes through demanding games, and while it gets hot during extended gaming sessions, there are no problems with throttling. I didn't have to worry about the battery running out before the end of the day, and while it doesn't last as long as the X200 Pro, it easily manages a day and a bit even with heavy use.

This is a very compelling phone, it definitely is, with plenty of useful features, great in-hand feel, extremely fast charging, great audio, and so on. However, there’s a ton of competition out there in the market in this sector, and you have to ask yourself what exactly are you looking for in a smartphone. I would say that this phone does excel in some ways, but as I said… it all depends on what you’re looking for/expect.

The Magic7 Pro does a lot of things right - to the high standard you'd expect from a top-shelf model - and it also manages to stand out in a couple of ways worth mentioning. At least two of them can be found in the pill-shaped cutout in the display - the selfie camera and the 3D face scanning bits that you can't get on all that many Androids. The unusually loud speakers are also possibly a selling point. Honor's approach to zoomed in photos starts off promisingly with a sizable sensor, but is a bit of letdown in practice because of the added digital magnification. The smaller battery capacity for Europe-bound units is also a questionable development and one that is preventing the Magic7 Pro from achieving its full potential. In the end, the Magic7 Pro isn't bringing us the level of camera excitement we hoped it would (and the level it just should be able to attain with its hardware). It's also not a significant enough update to the otherwise pretty appealing 2024 model.

One thing that I love about this phone is the face unlock. It is unlike anything I have previously used. HONOR says in its documentation that it uses 3D Face Recognition, and it really shows. When I pick the phone up, it immediately unlocks, so I only have to swipe from the lock screen. I literally cannot fault it. It seems like it does not require you to point your face to the screen at all for it to recognize you and unlock; it is just super fast. The same can be said of the fingerprint sensor; it is quick.

The Magic 7 Pro doesn’t leave you wanting for much. It has flagship performance, supermodel good looks, and features you won’t find on many Android rivals, like secure facial recognition. I wish battery life was just a little bit better, and Honor needs to commit to more years of updates if it wants to match Google or Samsung, but you’re otherwise getting an awful lot of phone for your cash. I was blown away by its photographic ability at times, with all three rear lenses really packing in detail and having no trouble capturing moving subjects. I wasn’t so sold on the AI super zoom or how it artificially inserted sun flares, and thought colour consistency between lenses could use some work, but there’s no denying the results can look particularly pleasing.

It is, indeed, too early to say, especially as we don't know the global prices of this flagship yet. The Honor Magic 7 Pro features some upgrades to the camera system, both hardware and software, a larger battery, and faster charging (at least in China). The latest Snapdragon chipset is onboard to challenge other speed champions, and this time around the display is flatter. All this adds up to one very potent and interesting device that we can't wait to test. The most important thing here is pricing and availability. If Honor prices this flagship aggressively outside China, it has the potential to steal even more market share from the big guys.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Интегрированный графический блок в SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite для смартфонов с тремя платами по 1,1 ГГц каждая. Встроенный общий кэш-память объемом 12 МБ для трех сегментов. По данным Qualcomm, на 40% быстрее, чем предыдущее поколение (Adreno 750).

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.

SD 8 Elite: Высокотехнологичный SoC (System on a Chip) для смартфонов, который был представлен в конце 2024 года. В него интегрированы два быстрых ядра Oryon Gen 2 Prime с частотой до 4,32 ГГц и 6 меньших ядер Oryon Gen 2 Performance с частотой до 3,53 ГГц.
